, 2006]. This one purports to emphasize military history, but that appears to be only partially accurate. It is a nice looking book with some great selections for those of us who don't subscribe to the journal or have back issues handy.2. Does anyone know what the story is with the Maps of Antietam and and in particular Amazon? I pre-ordered a year ago and was then told it would be available in September. Then the release was continued until February. Again continued until May with a release finally in June. My pre-order was cancelled by Amazon due to lack of availability in early June before release. Then Amazon began taking orders on July 1. I promptly re-ordered. Now their site says that the book is out of stock. No help from Savas Beatie who remains unusually mum on its website about this new publication release.

ReplyDeleteWe appreciate your support of this long-delayed title. Amazon is out of stock because they did not order nearly enough to satisfy demand once it arrived. They will have more within a few days. We don't mean be be "mum" about it, and will be doing a better job in the future with information about late titles.
