LOL. I remember reading several Civil War books in my Grade School library, including Across Five Aprils, Rifles for Watie, the American Heritage History of the Battle of Gettysburg, and a book on First Bull Run whose name I've forgotten. Unfortunately, I'm not sure which came first.
An FBR book is prominent in my early memory as well. It had painted landscape maps..I could pick the cover out of a lineup but can't remember the title or author.
