To be fair, the crew at Emerging Civil War did publish with Savas Beatie a western title on Chickamauga (Lee White's Bushwhacking on a Grand Scale: The Battle of Chickamauga, September 18-20, 1863 in 2013) but their overall output thus far has been overwhelmingly eastern theater. This emphasis will switch gears somewhat later this year with:
• Let Us Die Like Men: The Battle of Franklin, November 30, 1864 by William Lee White.
• Attack at Daylight and Whip Them: The Battle of Shiloh, April 6-7, 1862 by Gregory Mertz.
• A Long and Bloody Task: The Atlanta Campaign from Dalton through Kennesaw to the Chattahoochee, May 5-July 18, 1864 by Stephen Davis.
• All the Fighting They Want: The Atlanta Campaign from Peach Tree Creek to the Surrender, July 18-September 2, 1864 by Stephen Davis.
Maybe they will cross the Mississippi someday.
