Blue & Gray Volume XXX Issue #4
The next issue of B&G (the table of contents link is currently broken) will be a Franklin history and tour by Eric Jacobson. Considering the quality of the new issues and constantly changing states of site preservation, I always welcome revisits like this one.

Sounds really interesting.
ReplyDeleteI have the issues on Spring Hill and Franklin from the '80s. Very Good issues. Spring Hill seemed to be still very mellow then. They had a picture of a dirt road that Hood rode down with the Army of Tennessee and it still felt so rural that you could just imagine the Confederates soldiers filling it.
The Franklin issue made me mad though when I read that the site of where Cleburne was killed was a Pizza Hut. I'm glad people have started to battle for preservation of Franklin though a century too late.
